Our Modern, Purpose-built Facilities
Provide The Most Recent Equipment

We are a purpose-built podiatry clinic, the only one on the Capricorn Coast. Our treatment room is tailored for all aspects of podiatry care, with modern and up-to-date equipment.

We have a treadmill for gait analysis. Our sterilisation room (pictured, right) is fitted with specialised equipment to ensure all Australian Standards and Regulations are met.

Yeppoon Podiatry has established working relationships with the local community of GPs, Practice Nurses and other Allied Health Professionals.

Our Diverse Range of Services

Biomechanical and Gait Assessments

The Podiatrist will perform a series of tests to assess range of motion, function and position of joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons. Video gait analysis will also form part of the assessment and will help to determine the appropriate treatment.

Orthotic Therapy

Orthotic Therapy is the use of a supportive and corrective in-shoe device that can improve the function of the foot. Orthotics can help with flat feet, high-arched feet, arthritic feet, ankle instability, foot pain, knee pain, in-toeing, high plantar pressures and general foot discomfort.

Pathological Nails

Toenails that are thickened, damaged or difficult to cut can often become very uncomfortable and can usually be easily managed by a Podiatrist.

Ingrown Toenail Surgery (Nail Wedge Resection)

Ongoing problems with ingrown toenails can often be solved with a minor surgical procedure called a Nail Wedge Resection. This procedure is done in the clinic under local anaesthetic.

Diabetic Foot Assessments

People with Diabetes require annual foot assessments to monitor their individual foot health. At this assessment, any potential issues can be identified and education and/or treatment will be provided to improve the patient’s foot health.

Children’s Foot Assessments

The Podiatrist is able to perform a number of tests and observations to help with children’s foot problems.

Lower Limb Vascular Studies

Yeppoon Podiatry is able to perform vascular assessments to determine quality of blood flow in the lower limbs.

Corns, Callouses and Plantar Warts

Problems on the feet, such as corns, callouses and plantar warts, can have a significant impact on a person’s general health. A Podiatrist can treat these conditions and suggest ways to help.
